If you're looking for family photographs, you're probably trying to freeze a moment in time, right? Maybe it's your son's goofy smile before all his teeth came in, the way your daughter holds your hand when she's feeling shy, or those first days as a family after the birth of your child . It's important to me that you feel like you see yourselves when you look at your photos so I notice everything - what makes you laugh, how you interact with your loved ones, that little look you gave your spouse that you think no one saw (I did! I saw it!) - and give you something that feels like real memories in addition to beautiful portraits. That’s why I love family sessions. If you’re paying your hard earned money to get photos of your potentially uncooperative children, you’d better believe I’m going to put the care and effort into it that I would want for photos with my own kid. Because I get it. I want a million photos of him to look at during the years in between when he leaves for college and when he inevitably moves back in with me. I want to see his personality in those photos and I want him to see me smothering him with love. And I want that for you, too.
