FAQ

My fiancé/partner/child doesn't like photos. Is that okay?

Of course it is! A lot of people don't love being in front of the camera and children might find it boring or overwhelming. But if you look good, I look good, so the point is to try to have fun and I will do everything in my power to get your good side and make any unwilling participants laugh with funny dances, Elmo impressions, and anything else that makes me look ridiculous and you look amazing.

What is the process should we decide to move forward?

I try to make everything as easy as possible. Once you inquire I'll get back to you the same day. If you're ready to book, I'll send you a contract, you'll send that back along with a retainer (cost is based on which package you're booking), and I'll get you on my calendar! That's it!

Do you give out RAW images?

Nope! What you'll receive is exactly what you see in my portfolio - carefully edited, curated images. Photography is the work behind the camera but also a lot of work behind the computer. Since you're hiring me for my expertise I only want to give you the best shots with all of my final touches.

I have a spot in mind for photos - does it matter if you've never shot there before?

It's great that you already have a place picked out! No it doesn't matter if I've been there before because we'll talk about the location before the session and I show up ahead of time to scout it out. Lighting changes with time of day and time of year so even if I've been there before I probably need to rethink the setup anyway.
